Rev. Dr. Patrick Fung is the General Director of OMF International (formerly the China Inland Mission). He is the first Asian General Director in the 140 years since the mission organization was founded. He and his wife, Jennie, previously served as medical missionaries in South Asia. Patrick is actively involved in missionary training and preaching ministry. Patrick was one of the plenary speakers at Urbana 2009 & 2015, the Cape Town 2010 Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization and one of the Keswick Bible conference speakers in the UK in 2011. The mission of OMF is to glorify God by the urgent evangelization of East Asia’s millions. OMF currently has more than 1600 workers from 30 countries. Patrick has two children, Elaine (22) and Samuel (16). His wife, Jennie, continues to be involved in medical care for missionaries as well as publication of Missions resources.
Dr. Jeff Iorg is the president of Gateway Seminary. Prior to his service at the Seminary, Dr. Iorg was the Executive Director of the Northwest Baptist Convention for almost ten years. He was also the founding pastor of Greater Gresham Baptist Church in Gresham, Oregon and has served as a pastor in Missouri and a staff pastor in Texas.
Dr. Iorg teaches leadership, preaching, and church ministry courses at Gateway. He speaks frequently on these same subjects in conferences and other venues, including college campuses and leadership seminars. His publications include six books - The Painful Side of Leadership, The Character of Leadership, Is God Calling Me?, The Case for Antioch, Live Like a Missionary and Seasons of a Leader’s Life - along with dozens of articles and curriculum materials. Dr. Iorg is a graduate of Hardin Simmons University (B.A.), Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min.). He is married to Ann and has three adult children. His hobbies include watching baseball, reading, and searching for the world’s best barbeque restaurant.
Bob Sjogren (pronounced “show - gren”) is the president of UnveilinGLORY, a non-profit ministry geared toward awakening the church to a new awareness of God’s glory in all areas of life and to see that glory go to all peoples of the world.
Right after college, Bob went to Libya to pioneer work in an untouched country. Upon returning, he helped found “Frontiers” as well as “The Caleb Project.” Recently, he also established the “Fast for the President” where believers from around the nation are fasting for the holiness of the president of the United States of America.
Bob has been mobilizing the body of Christ toward revealing God’s greatest glory through reaching all ethnic groups with the gospel. Much of Bob’s teaching is in audio, video and book form. His books are:
Bob’s newest efforts have been put into creating Bible homeschool curriculum for children in grades 1-12. The first year’s curriculum (Cat and Dog Theology) and the second year’s curriculum (RG3: Revealing God’s Greatest Glory) is currently selling throughout the United States for high school students. “Cat and Dog Attitudes: Living to Make God Famous” is also being used by elementary children.
Bob consistently takes teams overseas to help believers grow closer to the Lord and catch a vision for the nations! Currently, Bob and his wife, Debby reside in Richmond, Virginia and have four adult children.
Dr. Peter Tan-Chi is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Christ’s Commission Fellowship (CCF). CCF started as an evangelistic-discipleship home Bible study group with a few couples who were unchurched in 1983. Today, it has grown to over 40,000 members. It has over 30 satellite churches throughout the Philippines and has also expanded its borders to other parts of the world. It has helped plant over 2,500 house churches in India alone.
Dr Peter Tan-Chi is passionate about the importance of discipleship at home and in the work place. He regularly conducts seminars on marriage and parenting, and on growing healthy churches. He is a self-supporting pastor through God’s blessing on his family business, which is being managed by his sons.
He also founded The Master’s Academy – the first home school program to be accredited by the Department of Education in the Philippines. He also sits on the board of various organizations such as Asian Theological Seminary, International Graduate School of Leadership, and the Far East Broadcasting Company Philippines.
Dr Peter Tan-Chi holds a Masters Degree in business and a Doctorate Degree in ministry.
Joyfully married to Deonna for over 40 years, they have been blessed with five children who are all happily married and serving the Lord as well. They have been blessed with ten charming grandchildren.
Dr. Allen Yeh is a missiologist who specializes in Latin America and China. He also has other academic interests in history, classical music, homiletics, social justice, the California missions, the Maya, and biographical interest in Jonathan Edwards (America's greatest theologian) and Adoniram Judson (America's first intercontinental missionary). He serves on the Board of Trustees for the Foundation for Theological Education in Southeast Asia. He earned his B.A. from Yale, M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell, M.Th. from Edinburgh, and D.Phil. from Oxford. Despite this alphabet soup, he believes that experience is the greatest teacher of all (besides the Bible). As such, Allen has been to over 60 countries on every continent, to study, do missions work, and experience the culture. As Mark Twain said in 1857, "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime."
